New Technology in hydraulic knees This NEW knee works with the wearer while walking. The M0790 Motion Control Knee with hydraulic Stance and Swing control, has easy activation with normal walking. The MCK activates hydraulic yielding depending on the positional attitude of the knee. Yield is activated while the knee is in a posteriorly leaning position, even while in the air walking over an obstacle. When the knee leans anteriorly, as the wearer walks and goes into pre-swing, the yielding will then release in preparation for swing. The yielding will still be activated with stair stepping or decline activities while the knee flexes and goes into an anteriorly tilted position as long as the yielding has been activated. Stance flexion is also provided as the wearer goes into loading response while walking.
The 4 modes are easily manually switchable and located conveniently at the front of the knee. A removable knee pad reveals the Stance, Flexion, and Extension hydraulic adjustments. Independent Swing and Stance hydraulic control.
